Barbara Farmer-Tolbert
Barbara Farmer-Tolbert is an International renowned speaker & preacher of the gospel. She has been married to Deacon Anthony Tolbert for 23 years. She is the proud Mother of one Son. Barbara was born into meager beginnings in the public housing community of Memphis, TN. She now serves in many roles to help serve the world both locally and abroad. Barbara is the Pastor of Missions for New Hope Baptist Church of Memphis. She successfully planted a Sister Church to New Hope Baptist Church of Memphis in Burundi, Africa where she serves as the Pastor Liaison. She is also the Assistant Director of Networking Hearts Of Hope for Africa International; through which she has completed several Evangelical mission trips.
She is also a member of the NAACP, Memphis, Chapter and she serves on the Board Of Directors for the April 4th Foundation. Barbara is a retired SVU Detective and is the first woman to hold the title of "Top Cop in Shelby County. She is a humble recipient of many awards and accolades but most recently she was presented with the' "Outstanding Community Service Award" and the "Finer Womanhood of Religion Award." She has traveled to over 75 different countries and she plans to continue her journey.
Barbara is also the Founder/CEO of Tolbert's Transformational Services, LLC, a leadership and personal enhancement company. Most of all, she is a willing worker for the Lord and looks forward to what the future has in store.
